It's quite an action-packed update we've got today. Let's start with the big names!

RIZ-ZOAWD is composed primarily by Basiscape members Hitoshi Sakimoto and Masaharu Iwata. However, the opening and ending themes are written by Wild Arms composer Michiko Naruke. Fitting, seeing as both games were developed by Media.Vision, though the title in question has a lot more to do with lions, tigers, and bears than it does with spaghetti Westerns.

Next up, Kumi Tanioka's latest work is hot off the press. That's right, the soundtrack for the Wii/DS dual-release, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Echoes of Time is now reviewed. Enjoy!

One more big-name title, we have Motoi Sakuraba's Tales of Hearts OST. So that makes three for three on DS soundtracks thus far. Now for the obscure stuff.

We promised more from the Tokyo Majin Gakuen series, and today, we deliver. First, the review for the vocal/drama album for the series, "Taimajinshihen ~ Sakurazukuyo." I don't even know what half of that translates to, which is a fairly depressing state of affairs. The other album reviewed is for the gaiden title in the series, Kowloon Yoh-Ma Gakuen Ki. The soundtrack for said title is far longer, and pretty hard to understand. But don't worry, the music goes down smooth and easy, thanks to composer Takashi Nitta's apparent ability to create good jazz music.

The last two reviews are written by editor Neal Chandran. One is the OST for Elemental Gimmick Gear (about time we got around to that one, eh?). The other is the soundtrack for the Exodus Guilty trilogy. Well, it's complicated how this particular soundtrack relates to the three DVD/PC games released by Hirameki a few years back. But much of the audio content is the same, so graphic adventure fans, rejoice!

Next update? Expect more graphic adventure love from Neal, as well as some of the most obscure soundtracks we could dig up from the Shin Megami Tensei series. TTFN, ta ta for now!
