Atlus has opened the official website for its recently announced PlayStation 2 title Devil Summoner Kuzunoha Raidou tai Abaddon Ou (Kuzunoha Raidou versus the King of Abaddon). The game begins with protagonist Raidou receiving a request from a 17-year old girl. During his investigation he leaves Tokyo for a remote village whose residents are said to be bound by an old-fashioned tradition. There the protagonist learns that Tokyo is about to face a crisis.
His main opponent is a mysterious man wearing a red mask. His goals and the motif behind attacking Raidou are unknown. The red masked man is the head honcho of an army of black masked, ninja-like warriors who attack Raidou. The third character is equally mysterious. A young man whom Raidou has met several times. He seems to watch over the protagonist. Apparently he knows something and wants to send a message to Raidou.
Devil Summoner Kuzunoha Raidou tai Abaddon Ou will be available in Japan on October 23rd. The game's plus version will ship with Shin Megami Tensei 3 Nocturne Maniacs Chronicle Edition. The first print of the standard edition will include a soundtrack CD.
