Earlier in the day we had a large gallery update for Marvelous titles. While the company also develops the Harvest Moon titles, we decided to group them into this update. With 2008 marking the 10th Anniversary of Harvest Moon, Natsume is bringing two new titles in the series to North America along with the second of the spin-off Rune Factory series. For each of these games, we have several dozen screen shots and a selection of artwork available to browse through, all linked below.
Harvest Moon: Tree of Tranquility for Wii is being touted as the largest game yet in the series. In addition, potential farmers will be able to raise a myriad of animals from series staples of cows and chickens to goats, ducks, silkworms and ostriches. Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness for the DS is also being promoted for being the largest Harvest Moon title - as far as portable releases go. Both games are scheduled for release later this summer and allow you to play as either a boy or a girl, instead of having to wait for a later "girl" release.
Coming out soon after those is Rune Factory 2: A Fantasy Harvest Moon for the DS. Like its predecessor, Rune Factory 2 combines the traditional Harvest Moon elements of farm building with a dramatic storyline, a skill system and the ability to forge your own tools and weapons for fighting and befriending monsters.
