Namco Bandai Rescues Hellgate: London
07.23.08 - 3:04 PM

Namco Bandai Games America has assumed responsibility over the servers of Flagship Studios' Hellgate: London. In an announcement posted on the forums of the online RPG, Namco Bandai Games America's Senior Director of Business Development, Zack Karlsson, assured the community that the game has come back online. In the statement, Mr. Karlsson left out any details of whether this means Namco Bandai has bought out the rights to the franchise or if it is only performing server maintenance and administration. Namco Bandai's decision will mean good things for the 1 million-strong community, which last week faced doom when Flagship Studios announced that it would be suspending all subscriptions to Hellgate: London.
