Microsoft has announced the release of a new Xbox LIVE Arcade title, Fable II Pub Games. Scheduled to hit the XBLA network this August, the download will be a collection of three mini games previously announced as separate titles: Keystone, Spinner's Box, and Fortune's Tower. Advancements made in each of these mini-games will be made available in the full version of Fable II when it is released later this year.

Fable II Pub Games will cost 800 Microsoft points to purchase on the XBox LIVE Marketplace. Alternatively, gamers can obtain Pub Games for free by pre-ordering Fable II from participating retailers.

Microsoft has also announced that it will be releasing two editions of Fable II: the regular game, priced at 59.99, and a special Collector's Edition for 79.99. The Collector's Edition will contain a DVD related to the making of Fable II, a special figurine of the infamous Hobbe monster, a free trial subscription to Xbox LIVE, and additional in-game content. As of now, no word has been given on the nature of this extra content.
