Nintendo has announced it will release the DS remake of the very first Fire Emblem in Japan on August 7th for 4,800 yen ($46.28 US).

The first game in Nintendo's popular series of strategy RPGs, Fire Emblem: Ankokuryuu to Hikari no Ken (Shadow Dragons and the Blade of Light) was originally released for the Famicom in April 1990.
