SCE Announces Phil Harrison's Successor

Two and a half months have passed since Phil Harrison left Sony Computer Entertainment to join the management team of third party publisher Atari. Today, the company announced Harrison's successor as president of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios. With Shuuhei Yoshida, another founding member of Sony Computer Entertainment has been appointed to lead the company's global game development organization.

After spending four years as a producer with Sony Computer Entertainment's product development department in Tokyo, Yoshida crossed the Pacific to join Sony Computer Entertainment America as vice president of product development in 2000. Yoshida has held his most recent position, senior vice president, US studios, Sony Computer Entertainment World Wide Studios since February 2007.
