New-ish Soundtracks Update
01.10.08 - 5:24 PM

Four soundtrack reviews today, folks. All written by me.

Two are old, and they round up the soundtracks for the only game we've covered (so far) that starts with the letter "Q." QuoVadis is the name of the game. It's a strategy RPG for Saturn (and PlayStation) that stayed in Japan. We now have all three game music albums from the short series covered. If you like obscurity, check these two out.

Now the new stuff. Well, new-ish. These two were released in the last year, and we passed it up until now.

First is Armodyne. The game was developed by Omiya Soft, and the music was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda. This two-disc soundtrack disappointed some, but inspired others. As for me? You'll just have to read to find out.

The other is the OST for Growlanser VI Precarious World. The same composers for Growlanser V returned for this short, one-disc soundtrack. The music is surprisingly good.

Next week, expect a lot of retro goodness!
