A few weeks ago, my inbox was hit with a double-whammy. Readers encountered two pretty significant errors on our part. First, there was Angel's Present. The third game in the Marl's Kingdom series, with music from Tenpei Sato, had a soundtrack review written by former staff member (and founder of Chudah's Corner) Lucy Rzeminski (now Maser). The problem with the review? Somehow, the text for it was the exact same as what she had written for Little Princess (the second in the series). We don't know what happened to her third review, but we knew we had to toss it. However, I've since taken time to listen to the album, and we now have a new review for the soundtrack.

The second hit? I myself wrote a review for NIS America's Phantom Brave Bonus Soundtrack. But in it, I told a little fib. Well, it was a complete lie. I said that the soundtrack was just a replica of the Japanese-released Arranged Sound Track. This, as it turns out, is completely untrue. I had made an assumption about the soundtrack, and it was wrong, and I'd like to apologize for it. And, to make good, a new review has been written up, detailing what really is found on this 45 minute disc.

Now, a little bonus. We have three more soundtrack reviews to go with this mini-update. Two of them are for the classic Sega Saturn RPG series Riglord Saga (known in the US as either Blazing Heroes or Mystaria, depending on the version of the game you bought). I've reviewed the OST for said game, as well as its sequel, which never made it to the English-speaking world.

Also, Neal Chandran was able to dig up the soundtrack for Tea Society of a Witch, a graphic adventure that Hirameki released in the last year. Neal's review gives a good impression of the music found in this unique title.

Alright, so that's it for today. In the coming days, you can bet that there will be a massive soundtracks update to bring an end to 2007 and kick off the new year. Be ready for it.
