Downloadables For Review 12.10.07 - 3:10 PM The Wii's "Virtual Console" service has brought some classic games back to the forefront. Unfortunately, it's also brought a lot of really boring, downright unplayable junk. Take, for example, Double Dungeons, originally released on the TurboGrafX. The game is made of awfulness and redundancy. Dennis braved the game and took on the tremendous burden of writing about it. Kudos to him. I myself played a much more enjoyable game, the classic Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, which has been released for both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. This game changed the series forever, and it's worth much more than the $10 you pay to download it to either next-gen console. Stay tuned for more reviews for Virtual Console, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live Arcade in the coming weeks! You never know what they'll dig up next.
