Previews Update: Conspiracy And Adventure
11.05.07 - 9:09 PM

Yes, it's Guy Fawkes day. How do we celebrate at RPGFan?

Well, generally, we drink a lot of soy sauce, put on white masks, and dance around a bonfire filled with games that we hate. It's our own little Parlaiment, and it will no longer oppress us.

But today, we decided to be a little more optimistic, and look at games that are worth our attention. And when I say "we," I mean Neal Chandran. The guy who loves graphic adventures and other artsy things? Yeah, him.

So here's what Neal's presenting:

Mozart - a graphic adventure that uses the life and times of the famous composer to set up a conspiracy: Gunpowder treason and plot. Well, maybe not those exact things, but it's going to be a much darker game than the last composer-centric RPG that came our way.

A Vampyre Story - the newest creation from Bill Tiller, a man who needs no introduction. Well, he might need one if you don't recognize the name (see Neal's preview to learn more). This game looks beautiful.

Winterheart's Guild - how about an Action RPG that stars a power metal band from Europe? Sonata Arctica is at the helm of this project. Be sure to read Neal's preview of this one.

There you have it! Now put on that white-smile-creepy mask and put some dynamite under your "bargain bin" collection of games!
