Tales of Innocence Growth System Detailed
10.23.07 - 11:05 PM

Bandai Namco Games has released new information regarding its upcoming DS title Tales of Innocence. While previous series installments featured set roles like "rear support", Tales of Innocence will allow the customization of a character's fighting style. The player will be able to set various styles, such as "advance" (vanguard position, focus on attacks), "wisdom" (positioned in the rear, focus on using techniques) or "guardian" (emphasis on a defensive approach). The development team has also improved your party members' AI. The player now can meticulously customize the action patterns of party members controlled by the AI. This enhanced customization has also been applied to the game's weapon system. Weapons can be fused with materials. As a result of this fusion, the weapon cannot just become stronger, but depending on the material, there is also the possibility of adding special effects, such as poison.

Tales of Innocence will be available in Japan on December 6th for 5,800 yen ($50.90 US).
