Crisis Core Off To Strong Start in Japan
09.15.07 - 10:40 AM

Square Enix's Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII has sold about 350,000 copies on the day of its release in Japan. This was the best start for a recent handheld-based Final Fantasy game. For reference, the DS version of Final Fantasy III had sold 330,000 copies on the day of its release. Crisis Core's sales performance also marks the second best start for a PlayStation Portable game in Japan so far, trailing only Capcom's Monster Hunter Portable 2.
