In addition to Agalest Senki, Compile Heart is currently working on a second PlayStation 3 game. Megazone 23 Aoi Garland is the adaptation of a popular mech-themed anime series by the same title. The game is based on Megazone 23 Part I, but takes place in a parallel world 20 years after the events shown in the OVA.

Megazone 23 will feature the following three modes: adventure, cockpit and battle. While in cockpit mode, players can select their next destination. Depending on the route one chooses, different events and battles will occur. Cockpit mode also allows for customization of your battle gear. Mech battles are command-based. During battle, players will gain experience points, which in turn will give them access to new commands.

Megazone 23 Aoi Garland will be available in Japan on September 13th for 6,800 yen ($55.56 USD). The limited edition, which will ship with an artbook and a Megazone 23 DVD, will retail for 8,800 yen ($71.91 USD).
