Capcom Gets a New President 06.21.07 - 8:08 PM Capcom today announced that Haruhiro Tsujimoto will become its new president, succeeding his father, company founder Kenzou Tsujimoto. In addition to his new role as president, Haruhiro will retain his current position as COO. The older Tsujimoto, who founded Osaka-based Capcom in 1983 and took over as president in 1985, will remain CEO, while becoming executive chairman. 42-year old Haruhiro Tsujimoto graduated from the Osaka University of Commerce in 1987 and joined Capcom the same year. Ten years later, he became a member of the board, before being appointed vice president last year.
