XSEED Announces A Few
03.21.07 - 4:14 PM

XSEED Games has announced that they will be bringing three more titles stateside this year, Wild ARMs 5, Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground, and Brave Story: New Traveler.

Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground for the PSP features a simultaneous dungeon creation element and real-time battle system. Players will hunt monsters inside the dungeons they create to complete quests for townspeople and hunt for gold and equipment. Players, as the "Architect", are ultimately trying to create a dungeon so deadly as to attract the legendary Wandering Demon to defeat.

Brave Story: New Traveler, also for the PSP, is developed by Game Republic, the minds behind the Genji titles. An 11-year-old boy and his friend Miki are traveling one day, as Miki collapses, and the main character is unable to revive his friend. However, a strange voice offers, "Beyond the door you can change your destiny!" It is up to the main character to go to the world of Vision and overcome many obstacles to have a single wish granted by the Goddess of Fortune.

Last, but certainly not least, is Wild ARMs 5, released in Japan as Wild ARMs: Vth Vanguard. This iteration in the Wild ARMs series brings back the HEX battle system from Wild ARMs 4. A hundred years before the beginning of the newest iteration of the series, a race named the Veruni landed on the planet Filgaia, and with their superior technology were able to dominate mankind. Humans are now relegated to a second-class status. At the beginning of the game, a hundred years after the landing of the Veruni, Dean Stark and Rebecca Streisand witness the arm of a golem fall from the sky - but this golem's arm clutches a girl in its fist, a girl who has no idea who she is or where she came from.

XSEED games, already planning the release of Valhalla Knights on April 17, will release Wild ARMs 5 and Brave Story: New Traveler in the third quarter of 2007, while Dungeon Maker: Hunting Ground will be released in July.
