On February 16, we posted this news story regarding the future of Square Enix, which originally included a quote in regards of the use of Epic's Unreal 3 engine in games - which erroneously included Final Fantasy XIII, which has been confirmed to continue to use the White Engine.

The error came from the Japanese article, where, at the time of our publication, the editor at Nihon Keizai Shimbun misconstrued a comment by Wada in regards to the licensing of the Unreal 3 engine and its use in upcoming games. A retraction was later issued at Nihon Keizai Shimbun, and, once we discovered the retraction, we modified our story. We apologize for the issue and the inconvenience.
