Final Fantasy I and II PSP-Bound 01.17.07 - 3:59 PM To commemorate the 20th anniversary of its flagship series' debut, Square Enix is bringing Final Fantasy I and II to PlayStation Portable later this year. Both games will be sold separately in Japan. While the extra dungeons of the GameBoy Advance releases will be included in both games, system-wise they are based on the PlayStation versions. That being said, Square Enix promises improved visual quality to make the games look good on the PSP's screen. Therefore, the development team has apparently remade the game's 2D visuals to fit the PSP's resolution. A gallery mode will also be added. In recent years, Final Fantasy I and II have already seen releases on WonderSwan Color, PlayStation, and GameBoy Advance. Final Fantasy I and II for PlayStation Portable will be available in Japan sometime later this year.
