Tengai Makyou Music Reviews
11.11.06 - 12:12 PM

It's an exciting day for us in the soundtracks department. For many years, we at RPGFan have had more than a passing interest in Red's Tengai Makyou (Far East of Eden) series. It's taken us awhile, but we've dug up every soundtrack from the series to date (excepting the ones that aren't for RPGs, of course). We already had three soundtracks covered on the site, but there were five that we were missing. Here they are:

Tengai Makyou - Fuuun! Kabuki Den OST -- a side-story featuring the character Kabuki, with excellent arranged music from Kouhei Tanaka.

Tengai Makyou History - Perfect Graffiti -- features music from three different games in the series, and is the only VGM album to date with music from Tengai Makyou ZIRIA.

Tengai Makyou II Manjimaru -- the original print to the game's soundtrack, only one disc.

Tengai Makyou II Manjimaru OST -- a recent reprint for the same game, this time the album is spread over two discs.

Tengai Makyou III NAMIDA OST -- the first and only soundtrack released for Namida, last year's two disc release was overlooked by many VGM enthusiasts. We ask: why?

The Namida review was written by Mark P. Tjan. The others were written by me.

As always, expect more great reviews every week from RPGFan Soundtracks Section!
