More Soundtrack Reviews 10.05.06 - 11:04 PM I'm makin' up for lost time in advance, because there will soon be a Ramza Jr. in town. Before I take my official paternity leave, I wanted to leave you, the precious reader, with some soundtrack reviews. It's all I know how to give, and I give it in large doses, as you know. First up, Ben Schweitzer reviewed the Front Mission Online OST. This reader-reviewer is a fan of the series, so his writing for the series-encompassing soundtrack are definitely more thoughtful and experience-based than anything I could have come up with. As for me, I tackled the new soundtrack for the new DS version of Final Fantasy III. The OST is a CD/DVD combo, and we have included sample audio and video from both! Don't miss it. Finally, I dug through the archives of domestically released music to find Tokyopop's published album "Chrono Trigger Official Soundtrack: Music From Final Fantasy Chronicles." Simply said, the advertisements for it lied, and my initial distrust of the album six years prior held true. The bonus track wasn't exclusive: they stole it and claimed it as unique to the CD. Whatever Tokyopop, whatever. When I make my triumphant return, my mind will be renewed with the merged sounds of a screaming infant and a synthesized melody. I can't think of two lovelier things to grace my veteran ears.
