Even after the exciting super-content-filled Valkyrie Profile update, which included six soundtrack reviews, we are far from finished with this week's contribution. In fact, we haven't even played our "trump card," so to speak.

But here's what we do have!

.hack//Game Music Best Collection was a one-disc American print that took songs from the original two-disc "Perfect Collection" and compiled what someone at Bandai (or Geneon) considered the better songs. Not one to shy away from domestic releases, I took a look at the album and share my thoughts.

But, more importantly, we've also reviewed the .hack//G.U. Game Music O.S.T., in part to recognize the game's upcoming American release. We're about three weeks away from the game's US launch, and it is my hope that the game will fare much better than its predecessor, especially in terms of sales. As I say in the soundtrack review: if this music is any indicator of the series' improvements, it'll definitely be worth checking out.

One more from me, this time a drama album (gasp!). Well, it's got some music, but not nearly enough to make it what I thought it was going to be. I'm referring to the Ar tonelico hymmnos musical: Clare ~Zephyr's Promise~, released last month. After two fantastic "hymmnos concert" albums, the "musical" seems to feature significantly less music than your average broadway production.

Now then, we also have two reader reviews. First, our friend Dennis (known as "Turnbaseddude" on our own forums) has submitted a veritable textbook for the album "Wild Arms Complete Tracks." This two-disc album stands true to its name by including songs left out of the original one-disc print. I had previously reviewed the album myself, but Dennis had a lot more to say, so if you're ready for a long read, go check it out!

Last but certainly not least, a first-time-contributor named Vincent T. J. Sier Chorley provides his take on the Yggdra Union soundtrack. Allow me to summarize: it's really good, especially for its technological limitations.
