TGS: Phil Harrison Talks 1st Party Development
09.22.06 - 3:42 PM

In an interview with Famitsuu's online presence, the president of Sony Computer Entertainment's World Wide Studios laid out his company's first party plans. After explaining the reasons for the organization's establishment and its structure, Harrison went on to say that currently 190 games for PlayStation 2, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3 were in development at World Wide Studios' various development studios. While Sony Computer Entertainment has only unveiled about two dozen PlayStation 3-based first party games so far, apparently about 100 games were in development for the company's next-generation platform. Asked about which games he would personally recommend, Harrison mentioned Insomniac's shooter Resistance: Fall of Man and Level 5's Shiro Kishi Monogatari. He described the latter as a game that will receive a lot of attention not only in Japan, but worldwide.
