SCE Announces TGS 2006 Line-Up
08.23.06 - 12:13 PM

Sony Computer Entertainment today announced a list of PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Portable games set to be exhibited at the company's Tokyo Game Show booth next month. Not so surprisingly, none of the 19 confirmed playable PlayStation 3 games falls into RPGFan's realm of coverage. Eight more undisclosed games will be playable on the show floor, so it remains to be seen whether an RPG will be among them or several other titles, which will be shown off in video form only.

As far as PlayStation Portable is concerned, Sony Computer Entertainment has confirmed that the 16 playable games (four of which have yet to be announced) will include the following portable RPG offerings: Tenchi no Mon 2: Busouden, the Level 5-developed Jeanne D'Arc and Bandai Namco Games' Tales of the World: Radiant Mythology.

Please keep in mind that this list only contains games scheduled to make an appearance at Sony Computer Entertainment's booth. More RPGs, like Square Enix's Final Fantasy XIII, will most likely be exhibited at their respective publisher's booth.

This year's edition of Tokyo Game Show will run from September 22nd through 24th.
