Released on July 6th in Japan, Xenosaga Episode III: Also sprach Zarathustra (Thus spoke Zarathustra) debuted in this week's edition of the sales charts at spot #2. As of July 9th. the game however has only sold 123,847 copies. This compares to initial sales of approximately 186,000 copies for Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Boese (Beyond Good and Evil). It remains to be seen whether the final installment of Tetsuya Takahashi's epic saga manages to reach the 260,000 copies which Xenosaga Episode II has sold in Japan since its July 2004 debut.

Xenosaga Episode III: Also sprach Zarathustra will be available in the US this fall.
