Princess Soft announced its newest PlayStation 2-based love adventure. Originally released by BunBun for the PC platform on May 26th 2006, the game will carry the title Hokenshitsu he Youkozo. Players will be put in control of protagonist Kotarou Tanaka. The young man narrowly escaped his certain death during an accident on top of a mountain. After a lengthy absence, he returns to school only to be elected head of a committee overseeing the school's infirmary. The infirmary's newly appointed doctor Marina Kasuga has not only changed the infirmary's interior, but is also rumored to transform students by giving them a magic substance instead of regular medicine. Due to these rumors, students generally refuse to get close to the infirmary. The protagonist however gets along well with Marina. While Kotarou is living a rather normal life, he still remembers a thought he had during his accident. Back then, he wanted to have a girlfriend once he recovered from his injuries. Upon hearing this story, an enthusiastic Marina immediately wants to support him in accomplishing this potentially difficult task. After Marina has mixed a special medicine for him, Kotarou's personality becomes stronger and he ends up behaving like a thug. At this point, the game's four other heroines appear at the infirmary one after another: The clumsy junior Komomo Ryuugasaki, the stalking transfer student Mirai Shizukuishi, the school's most popular girl Sayori Kirihara and the sharp-tongued and aggressive Akeo Kuon. In addition to the aforementioned heroines, the game's PlayStation 2 version will also make the protagonist's long-time friend Natsume a heroine with an ending sequence of her own. The game will offer full voice acting for all female characters.

Hokenshitsu he Youkozo will be available in Japan sometime this fall.
