Every Final Fantasy OST Reviewed!
06.17.06 - 1:45 AM

This update belongs to a very accomplished reader-reviewer named Ben Schweitzer. What he has done in one month has blown me away. He reviewed every original soundtrack for Final Fantasy titles I-XII, excluding X-2 and the expansion for XI. His prowess and uncanny ability to analyze the work of Uematsu and others makes me look like a complete chump in comparison. Seriously, compare my older review of say, Final Fantasy IV, with his. I am so glad that he made the effort at this outstanding personal project. As he has rewarded you, you ought to reward him by taking time to read at least some of his comprehensive reviews, especially Final Fantasy XII.

Of course, I couldn't let the latest title pass me by, and I have also written up my many (mixed) thoughts about Final Fantasy XII's soundtrack.

As a bonus, my onset addiction to Final Fantasy XI led me to purchase and review the soundtrack to the latest expansion, Treasures of Aht Urhgan. It's only one disc, but it's fine work from composer Naoshi Mizuta.

Get to reading!
