The Japanese Computer Entertainment Suppliers Association (CESA) today announced that this year's edition of Tokyo Game Show will run from September 22nd through 24th. As always, the gaming industry's second major trade show, behind E3, will take place at Chiba prefecture's Makuhari Messe convention center. The theme behind the tenth anniversary Tokyo Game Show will be "New Excitement. New Emotion. New Era."

The organizers are aiming for more than 160,000 visitors, 140 exhibiting companies and 1,500 booths. One-day tickets can be purchased for 1,000 yen ($8.90 USD) in advance or on the day of the visit for 1,200 yen ($10.68 USD).
