Originally scheduled for a winter 2005 release in Japan, Kadokawa Shoten's EVE Next Generation, the newest installment in the popular adventure series, is now heading for an August 31st release on PlayStation 2 in Japan. The game's standard version will be available for 6,800 yen ($59.36 US), while the limited edition DX Pack will retail for 8,800 yen ($76.82 US). The latter will include an artbook, an original drama CD and various tattoo stickers.
