Idea Factory today announced its third PlayStation Portable project, Edith Memories: Shinten Makai Generation of Chaos V. Compared to the PlayStation 2 release, the game's PlayStation Portable version will allow players to select their starting point at the beginning of the game. Originally, players were forced to start playing in the Underworld. In addition, five characters from Generation of Chaos IV will be added to the cast of the PlayStation Portable version.

Edith Memories: Shinten Makai Generation of Chaos V for PlayStation Portable will be available in Japan sometime in May for 4,800 yen ($40.77 US).
