Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children Dated
02.13.06 - 7:01 PM

Square Enix today revealed that its popular CG movie Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will go on sale in the US in late April. Just like in Japan, fans can decide between a DVD and a UMD version of the movie. The former will include a bonus disc featuring the same content as the Japanese release (a story digest, trailers of future installments of the Compilation of Final Fantasy VII, deleted scenes, a "Making of" featurette and footage from the movie's 2004 debut at the Venice Film Festival).

The voice actors behind the movie's characters will be the same ones that have already lent their voices to the characters of the upcoming Kingdom Hearts II: Steve Burton will again lend his voice to protagonist Cloud Strife, while Rachael Leigh Cook and Mena Suvari have been announced as the voice actresses behind Tifa and Aeris.

Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children will be available in the US on April 25th. The DVD version will retail for $26.95 USD, while the UMD release will cost $28.95 USD.
