Broccoli today announced new information about the newest installment of its popular Galaxy Angel series, Galaxy Angel II: Zettai Ryouiki no Tobira for PlayStation 2. In this new incarnation of the love adventure/space simulation hybrid the members of the Rune Angels have to defend a new world known as Neue (German for new). The game's protagonist is a young man by the name of Kazuya Shiranami. Friendly and honest, Kazuya is the first male member of the unit. The game's cast will also include the following five heroines: Apricot Sakuraba is very enthusiastic about her work and occasionally exhibits superhuman strength. Anis Ajiet is a treasure hunter who yields from a family of thieves. Nanonano is the youngest member of the Rune Angels. In fact, the mood maker of the unit is a nano machine possessing an individual consciousness. Kahlua is capable of using magic. Inside her resides another female by the name of Tequila. The consumption of alcohol lets the personality of Tequila appear. Lily C. Sherbet is an extremely serious former bodyguard of the imperial family.

Galaxy Angel II: Zettai Ryouiki no Tobira will be released in Japan on April 27th. The standard version will be available for 6,800 yen ($57.72 US), while the limited edition will retail for 8,800 yen ($74.69 US). The latter will include a special booklet and CD, a box and two banner flags.
