Soundtracks Update: European Goods
01.26.06 - 3:14 PM

Reader-reviewer "Alexander P." is a resident of Germany, and he's had plenty of years to scope out the videogame scene. In that time, he's also collected quite a number of soundtracks, and surprisingly, there are plenty that weren't printed in Japan. Let's take a look at what Alex has to show us.

In the vein of Myst-style point-and-click puzzle-solving adventures is a two-part series called Atlantis. Soundtracks were printed for both the first and second game, and Alex gives us his thoughts about what totals to four discs of very well-composed and well-performed music.

Next, there was a game from Infogrames entitled Silver released not just on PC but also Sega Dreamcast. I , for one, remember wanting to play this game very badly as a young man but never having the opportunity. Luckily, I have now had the opportunity to experience some of the game's musical score thanks to the samples provided by Alex in his review of this game's soundtrack.

Finally, The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask had a two-disc OST printed by Nintendo of Europe that included exclusive bonus tracks! If you didn't know, now you know. Read the review.

That's it for this week: expect even bigger and better for the next month, as the lineup for Japanese releases is pretty decent!
