Square Enix will show off a previously unannounced PlayStation 2 title at this week's JUMP Festa 2006. Featuring anime looks, the game will tell an entirely new story staring a young Yangus as its protagonist. In addition to Yangus, at least one more character from Dragon Quest VIII, with Gerda already being named, is set to make an appearance in the game.

Dragon Quest Yangus will be available in Japan sometime next year.
