EA Japan and Sony Online Entertainment have announced that Star Wars Galaxies will be shut down in Japan. Players will be able to transfer their characters to the US or UK servers before the game leaves Japan. The game's newest expansion, The Trials of Obi-Wan launches tomorrow for US and UK players.
