Sony Computer Entertainment today announced the retirement of executive vice president and chief operating officer Akira Satou from executive duties, effective November 5th. Satou, who had previously worked for Sony Music Entertainment, has been a member of Sony Computer Entertainment's management team since the company's foundation in 1993. Satou will remain a member of Sony Computer Entertainment's board of directors as a non-executive director.
