Atlus Cancels Games
09.29.05 - 7:05 PM

In a message to their investors, Atlus has announced that they have shelved an unidentified number of games. The statement reveals that this decision was due to internal restructuring and the fact that the games may not have made a profit.

Unfortunately for gamers salivating for future Atlus games, we don't know what games have been cancelled. The following games are (were?) some of the smaller games in development by Atlus:

Jam Jam Hype! - Nintendo GameCube
EX Jinsei Game - Sony PSP
Touge MAX - Sony PSP
Jinsei Game DS - Nintendo DS
Choro Q DS - Nintendo DS

It is also possible that some or all of the cancelled games were not yet announced. Atlus is expecting a combined loss of 693 million Yen (approx. $6.13 million USD) between unsold inventory and the cancellations. Year-end losses are expected to be 380 million Yen (approx. $3.36 million USD).
