Sega Announces Tenka-bito
09.07.05 - 5:28 PM

The latest issue of Famitsuu reveals that Sega is working on a new PS2 Strategy-RPG by the name of Tenka-bito. The title, similar in style to Kessen, is already 60% complete and is slated for a Winter release in Japan at a price of 7,140 yen ($64.89 USD).

Tenka-bito finds its environment from Japan's Sengoku era, the same era seen in titles like Samurai Warriors and Nobunaga's Ambition. Players will be able to take control of many warlords, including Oda Nobunaga, and will see unique cutscenes and story for each character. Individual units will also be able to level up on the battlefield.

Tenka-bito has yet to receive a US release date. Stay tuned to RPGFan for more news on this upcoming title.
