Megacyber today revealed some new details regarding its upcoming Nintendo DS action RPG Londonian Gothics: Meikyuu no Lolita.

The game's protagonist Alice is looking for her kidnapped father in dark labyrinths beneath 19th century London. System-wise, Alice has to rely on dresses to fight off the monsters luring in the various mazes. Using these dresses allows her to cast thunder or create a barrier. In total, Londonian Gothics will offer its player more than 20 dresses. While early in the game Alice can only choose between a small number of dresses, defeated monsters will leave behind pattern papers and threads, allowing for the creation of new dresses. Alice can change dresses at any given time. Once the players opts for a dress change, Alice will not only have different abilities at her disposal, but also look different during event scenes. Using a dress' abilities however consumes points on the dress power gauge, thereby limiting the usage of these abilities. Luckily the game offers a solution to this problem: By destroying certain monsters, their fellows will be temporarely weakened, allowing Alice to dispose of them by simply stepping on them.

Londonian Gothics: Meikyuu no Lolita will be available in Japan on October 13th for 4,800 yen ($43.14 USD).
