Microsoft Game Studios and Lionhead have announced that the PC version of Fable, Fable: The Lost Chapters has gone gold and is slated for a release on September 20. Although Fable was panned by many critics for its extremely short length, under ten hours for some, Lionhead has promised that the new content in The Lost Chapters will extend the gameplay immensely. The Lost Chapters adds new weapons, areas, quests, and enemies.

The PC version of Fable: The Lost Chapters is rated "M" for Mature and will retail for an MSRP of $49.99 USD. The Xbox version of the title is expected by the end of the year and will see a Platinum Hits release at $19.99 USD.
