Sega today announced first details regarding the upcoming open beta testing phase of its MMORPG RF Online. The second Japanese beta for the CCR-developed title will begin on September 1st at 15:00 JST. RF Online, which combines sword and magic fantasy with science fiction elements, underwent its first (closed) beta test in Japan last month.

Sega has yet to announce details regarding necessary account creation procedures or the download of client software.

RF Online will be available in Japan sometime this fall.
