Namco today announced first details regarding the pre-order campaign for its upcoming PlayStation 2 RPG Tales of Legendia. Those who pre-order the game in Japan will receive a special premium DVD containing a trailer of the recently announced next series installment Tales of the Abyss. As quantities of the premium DVD will be limited, fans are advised to place their pre-orders as soon as possible.

The newest update of the game's official website also featured the introduction of a key NPC named Walter. The 17-year old is a mysterious figure whose intentions are entirely unknown. Shortly after Senel arrives on the Ruin Ship, Walter begins going after Senel's sister Shirley and at the same time shows nothing but open hostility towards Senel.

Tales of Legendia will be available in Japan on August 25th for 6,800 yen ($61.10 US).
