Square Enix has released some new information regarding its PlayStation 2 RPG Grandia III. Another new character that will join protagonist Yuuki on his journey through the game's vast world is Hect. The elfish-looking girl originally yields from a world that is different from Yuuki's. With her violin, she is capable of cutting the link between her world and Yuuki's. While Hect's world used to be a place of hidden beauty, by now it is entirely crystallized.

Grandia III will be available in Japan on August 4th for 7,980 yen ($71.13 US).
