For its newest issue, Weekly Famitsu has interviewed various Japanese developers, asking them to share their thoughts about the three next generation consoles. From the perspective of those questioned, the key feature of Sony Computer Entertainment's PlayStation 3 seems to be its capability to display high-resolution visuals. As far as Nintendo's Revolution was concerned, the developers highlighted in particular the possibility of being able to download games released for previous hardware. On the other hand, online features are considered the biggest upside of Microsoft's Xbox 360.

Here is what the various industry heavyweights had to say:

-Kouji "Cozy" Okada (Gaia Co., Shin Megami Tensei producer)
PlayStation 3: It can handle visuals exceeding everything we have seen until now, so I want to try and create an "Okada world" to my heart's content on it.
Revolution: It can be viewed as a new form of gaming. I want to try and create a game that makes full use of those features.
Xbox 360: It offers worldwide communication. I'm trying to think about some new things for it.

-Kou Shibusawa (Koei, Kessen series producer)
PlayStation 3: I want to challenge myself to create new titles that have not been done until now.
Revolution: It will see the release of games comparable to older ones, which focused on ingenuity and gameplay.
Xbox 360: Connectivity with the PC platform; The online features hold a lot of potential.

-Yuuji Naka (Sonic Team, Sega)
PlayStation 3: I'm very interested in the fact that it can display high-resolution visuals.
Revolution: It is good, that you can play Sega's old games on it.
Xbox 360: The online capabilities and controls are intriguing.
