Square Enix has announced a pre-order campaign for its PlayStation 2 action RPG sequel Musashiden II: Blademaster (Samurai Legend: Musashi) in Japan. Those who pre-order the game will be treated to one of four different wristbands. Each wristband comes in a different color (red, white, blue and green) and features an illustration showing one of the four swords wielded by Musashi in the game. Since quantities of the wristbands are limited, fans are advised to place their pre-orders as soon as possible.

Those who purchase the Musashiden II: Blademaster Original Soundtrack, which is scheduled for a July 21st release, will have the chance to enter a sweepstake and win the fifth wristband depicting the final "Sword of the Sky".

In further Musashi-related news, Square Enix today opened a teaser site for the cellphone-based action RPG Musashiden II: Episode Zero. Users of NTT DoCoMo's FOMA90x series cellphones can now download a free promotional trailer from this site. The actual game will be available in Japan on June 20th.

Musashiden II: Blademaster will be available in Japan on July 7th for 6,800 yen ($62.63 US).
