Sega today announced, that the release of Sega Ages 2500 Series Volume 18: Dragon Force has been pushed back by another one and a half months to August 18th in Japan. Originally scheduled to hit retail store shelves on April 28, the release of the classic strategy RPG's PlayStation 2 remake had previously been delayed until June 30th. The retail price of 2,500 yen ($23.39 US) has remained unchanged.

For fans of the Sega Saturn classic, this wait however might as well prove worthwhile. Sega will be offering two additional versions of the game exclusively through its online store Sega Direct. The Super DX pack which will ship with an artbook and a two-disc soundtrack will be available for 7,700 yen ($72.04 US). The standard DX pack will only include the artbook and go on sale for 4,500 yen ($42.10 US). A tin badge will be included in all three packages.
