Atlus had to show us the upcoming sequel Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2 and Magna Carta: Tears of Blood, both for the PlayStation 2.

Shin Megami Tensei: Digital Devil Saga 2 is everything we'd hoped it would be - a more story-heavy sequel to RPGFan's first Editor's Choice Award recipient. The game features the same voice actors from the first game and a new accessory system. The game is slated for a Fall 2005 release. Magna Carta: Tears of Blood was also shown. A port of the Korean PlayStation 2 game, Magna Carta features an action-oriented "Trinity Action" battle system, somewhat akin to fighting in the Square classic Xenogears. There are currently no plans for Atlus to release the PC version of Magna Carta. Magna Carta still does not have a solid US release date.
