Pre-E3: Final Fantasy Goes PS3 05.16.05 - 9:12 PM Following the official presentation of the PlayStation 3 at its press conference in Los Angeles today, Sony Computer Entertainment revealed a long list of companies planning to support the new platform: Bandai, Capcom, Electronic Arts, Koei, Konami, Take-Two, Namco, Sega, Square Enix and Ubi Soft. In fact, one of the tech demoes shown at the event was based on Square Enix's best selling PlayStation One RPG Final Fantasy VII. In a statement, Square Enix president Youichi Wada confirmed that his company is fully backing PlayStation 3 and plans to bring the Final Fantasy series to Sony Computer Entertainment's new hardware were already in the making.
