PS2 Version of Miko Mai Announced 05.08.05 - 9:08 PM Miko Mai: Eien no Omoi will be released for PlayStation 2 this summer. The game will be a remake of Etude Soft's love adventure Miko Mai: Tada Hitotsu no Onegai. Originally released for the PC platform on November 26th 2004, Miko Mai tells the story of a protagonist who for the first time in 10 years returns to his hometown. Since the railway connecting the remote village to the outside world is scheduled to be shut down, he sees this as a last opportunity to visit the place where he had been born and raised. Since the place he was supposed to stay at messed up his reservation, he has no place to stay. Luckily for the protagonist, he meets his childhood friend Natsuki. As a shrine maiden at the local Shintou shrine, she can offer him a place to stay. In addition to Natsuki, the game will feature six more heroines, including the shrine maidens Hisane, Kohaku, Akane, the protagonist's little sister Hisana, the wife of the shrine's chief priest and Asahi, a shrine mysterious maiden appearing in the protagonist's dreams. No information regarding possible changes compared to the original PC version has been released so far. Miko Mai: Eien no Omoi will be available in Japan on July 28th.
