Hudson Becomes Konami Subsidiary 04.11.05 - 8:38 PM Hudson has become a subsidiary of Konami, the two companies announced today in Japan. Through a third-party allocation of three million shares, Japan's leading third party publisher has increased its stake in the makers of Bomberman and Tengai Makyou (Far East of Eden) from 45% to 53.99%. For the fiscal year that ended on March 31st, Hudson projects a loss of 7.7 billion yen ($71.11 million USD). Furthermore, the company is currently undergoing major restructuring under its new president Hidetoshi Endou, who replaced long-time president and company founder Hiroshi Kudou last November. Yuuki and Hiroshi Kudou remain Hudson's second and third largest shareholders, holding a combined stake of 19.25% in the company they founded 32 years ago.
