Nihon Falcom has revealed first details regarding Ys Felghana no Chikai. While the PC-based title was originally announced last month, the company has not release any details until today. As its title suggest, players will re-visit the region of Felghana, which debuted in Ys III: Wanderers from Ys 16 years ago. Ys Felghana no Chikai is not the series' seventh installment, but rather a gaiden based on the engine of Ys VI. After having heard ominous rumors surrounding Felghana, series protagonist Adol Christian begins his newest adventure by staying with a friend of his in the Felghanan village of Redmond. On his journey, he will meet many new characters, including the Stardart siblings. While Ys Felghana no Chikai will tell a new story, the game's keyword will be Valenstein Castle, which symbolizes Ys III. In the castle an intrigue is in the making. It was also confirmed that Elena, the heroine of Ys III will make an appearance in the game.

Ys Felghana no Chikai will be available in Japan sometime in June.
